Administrative Assistant
Preforms administrative, manufacturing, and sales support activities for multiple supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the glass industry
- HS Diploma or GED; Associate Degree or above preferred
- Accurately read architectural drawings
- Requires strong verbal/written communication, organization and time management skills
- Input customer orders in glass ERP software
- Prepare product quotes
- Train new hires
- Manage daily accounting
- Inventory control and material tracking
- Create, process, and track purchase orders
- Follow up with vendors on shipment and delivery
- Review orders, contracts, invoicing, shipping, returns, payment, schedules
- Generate new customer leads
- Create various reports for management in Excel
CAD Drafter
CAD drafter will utilize computer-aided design systems to create technical drawings for architectural glass products.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or above preferred
- Prefer previous experience in the glass industry
- Auto-CAD (2005 or later) training certificate or two years of verified work experience from previous employer(s)
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software.
- Must have a high mathematics and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure
- Accuracy in data entry
- Interpret and enter sketches to be produced by CNC operators
- Enter numbers into computer system. sort paperwork by description and size, make production notes, print labels, and distributre paperwork to production
- Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions
